How to Install 3rd party Theme ?

• First Method – Install MIUI Themes with MIUI Theme App –

1. First of all, you need to download the theme on your device. Also, make sure that the theme file is in (.mtz) extension.
2. Now, on your Xiaomi device search for the Themes app. Themes app is pre-installed on the Xiaomi device, you can find that easily. Open the Themes app.
3. Open the Themes app and select the offline mode. You can find the downloaded themes in the offline mode.
4. After this, scroll down, search for the Import option and tap on it.
5. Now you have to select the downloaded MIUI theme that you want to apply from the downloaded MIUI theme library.
6. On selecting the downloaded theme, the theme will be installed on your device.
7. Go to the offline mode again. There you will find the downloaded and imported themes.
8. Finally, tap to select the theme that you want to apply on your device.

If you have done the above-mentioned steps correctly, you are all done with the steps of how to install MIUI themes on your Xiaomi device.

• Second Method – Install 3rd party MIUI Themes with MIUI Theme Editor:

Note:- The above method was to install the official MIUI Themes on your device. But, you can also install the third party MIUI themes too. So, before starting with the steps make sure that the downloaded theme file is in (.mtz) format.

1. First of all, you need to install the MIUI Theme Editor app.
2. After installation, open the MIUI Theme Editor app on your Xiaomi device.
3. After opening the app, tap on the Browse tab. And then go to the downloaded MIUI theme and lastly click on Start option.
4. After this, tap on Next to continue.
5. Finally, tap on the Install option to set up a third-party MIUI theme on your Xiaomi device.

You are done now. You can choose any third party MIUI theme for your smartphone.
